Refund Policy
How refunds, cancellations and statutory consumer rights work for purchases of Real Estate Exposé AI. This English text is a convenience translation; the German version is legally authoritative.

1. Scope
This Refund Policy explains how refunds and related requests are handled for paid purchases of Real Estate Exposé AI (the "Service"), including subscriptions and one-time generation-credit packages.
It applies together with our Terms of Service / AGB and Privacy Policy. It does not replace mandatory consumer-protection law.
2. Paddle as Merchant of Record
In the production environment, purchases and subscriptions are intended to be processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited or affiliated entities, "Paddle") as Merchant of Record. That means the buyer typically contracts with Paddle for the paid offering; Paddle issues the invoice and handles payment, applicable taxes (where assumed by Paddle), and transaction-level refund processing.
Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern transaction-level refund processing. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

These documents (or successor URLs published by Paddle) apply to the purchase transaction. We do not override Paddle's Buyer Terms or mandatory consumer law.
3. Refund eligibility
Whether a refund is available depends on applicable law, the type of purchase (subscription or one-time credits), product usage or performance already provided, and Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
There is no blanket "all sales final / non-refundable" rule. There is also no guarantee that every support request will result in a refund.
Customers retain all mandatory statutory consumer rights.
4. EU/EEA/UK consumer withdrawal rights
Where applicable, consumers in the EU/EEA/UK (and other jurisdictions with similar rules) may have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts for digital content or digital services, typically for 14 days where provided by law.
That right may — where legally permitted — expire or be limited if performance begins during the withdrawal period with the consumer's express consent and the required acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost upon commencement of performance (for digital content) or upon complete performance (for services), and the statutory information duties have been met.
Mere technical activation or starting a subscription alone does not automatically remove all refund or withdrawal rights. What matters are the statutory requirements, any effective consent/acknowledgement obtained at checkout, and actual commencement of performance.
For purchases processed via Paddle, withdrawal or refund processes may also be handled through Paddle.
5. Credit packs / one-time purchases
Generation-credit packages are one-time purchases. They do not renew as a subscription.
Refund eligibility for credit purchases is subject to applicable statutory consumer rights, Paddle's applicable refund policy, and — where legally relevant — whether credits have already been materially used or consumed.
Material use of credits may affect eligibility where the law and checkout acknowledgements so provide. This does not mean that used credits can never be refunded under any circumstances, nor does it remove mandatory consumer rights.
6. Subscriptions
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew according to the billing interval selected at checkout, until cancelled.
You may cancel through the Paddle-supported cancellation or customer-portal flow (typically available from billing settings, your purchase confirmation, or Paddle).
Cancellation prevents future renewals according to the applicable cancellation timing (usually at the end of the current paid billing period, unless checkout or Paddle states otherwise). Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for payments already made.
Statutory withdrawal and refund rights remain unaffected.
7. Technical problems or defective service
If you cannot access a purchased Service feature because of a material technical defect attributable to us, please contact support so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
If the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, refund eligibility is handled according to applicable statutory rights and Paddle's applicable refund process.
We do not guarantee a refund for every support or technical issue.
8. How to request a refund
1. For product or technical issues, you may contact us first at contact@realestatexpose.com (or via the contact form on our website).
2. We may attempt to resolve the issue (for example access, account, or delivery problems).
3. For Paddle-processed purchases, eligible refunds are processed through Paddle as Merchant of Record. We do not promise manual direct bank or card refunds from Real Estate Exposé AI outside Paddle.
4. You may also use the refund or buyer-support options provided by Paddle in your receipt, subscription-management flow, or Paddle buyer support (see https://paddle.net or the links in your purchase confirmation).
Where applicable, refunds are returned through the original payment method used for the purchase.
9. Fraud / refund abuse / chargebacks
Fraud, refund abuse, unjustified chargebacks and similar misuse may affect eligibility for voluntary refunds and may lead to account restrictions, subject to applicable law.
Legitimate statutory consumer objections and mandatory rights remain unaffected.
10. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
If any part of this policy conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law prevails. If any part conflicts with Paddle's terms regarding payment, invoicing, taxes and refunds for a Paddle-processed purchase, Paddle's terms prevail for that purchase transaction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

Material changes will be reflected on this page. Ongoing purchases remain subject to the terms applicable at the time of purchase and to mandatory law.
